The region

Normandy, between heaven and earth

The Bay of the Seine

There are so many loops before the river Manche and so many pretty typical villages with their thatched houses; a special circuit is dedicated to this curiosity.

Without forgetting the Regional Natural Park and the beautiful "Marais Vernier".

Green tourism always with the museums of Flax and Clog, the Mill of Hauville. More sportive: the Acrobranches Park of Aizier and Canoeing on the Risle river from Pont-Audemer.

The Venice of Normandy which welcomes the Festival of Mascarets (from the Music Festival to mid-July).

Beautiful Abbey at Bec-Hellouin

The Flowered Coast

Honfleur with its galleries, its port and its impressive Pont de Normandie is less than 30 minutes from Le Coquerel. Not far from there, Trouville and Deauville for those who like casino, horse races or beautiful beaches. Villers-sur-Mer and Houlgate are quieter and Proust's Cabourg is only a short distance from the D-Day beaches.

The Country of Auge

saint-Siméon is at the gates of the Pays d'Auge. This region, known for its "cows under the apple trees", is full of architectural treasures with its famous half-timbered houses. Lisieux, its capital, offers us the Basilica of Sainte-Thérèse; while the cheese factory of Livarot and the distilleries of Cormeilles and Pont-l'Evêque can be visited with tasting. Very beautiful Cider Road and numerous stud farms. Superb zoological park, the Cerza, in Hermival-les-Vaux. More than 50 ha devoted to the animal world. Idyllic setting for the young and the old
